Giles

Household Majordomo

Your family talks the way it always has. I attend to the administrative consequences.

A dramatization, abridged. Giles is being tested over Telegram today; additional channels are planned.

The trouble with households

In every home, one person quietly holds it all together.

Appointments, groceries, who-is-where and who-said-what. One person uses a paper calendar; another lives in an app; a third mentions things and hopes. Someone shoulders the difference.

“I was engineered for precisely that difference.”

How Giles helps

An offhand remark, made useful.

I

You mention it

Speak where the household already gathers. No new family workflow to teach.

“Soccer moved to Thursday, and we’re nearly out of dog food.”
II

Giles makes sense of it

He reads the remark in household context and prepares the useful next action.

Calendar · Thu 5:00 List · Dog food
III

Everyone stays aligned

Plans, tasks, and timely reminders reach the right people without a family operations meeting.

“Noted. Practice moved; dog food added to Friday’s errands.”

Questions one might have

Do we all have to use the same app?

No. The point is to meet each person in familiar channels and keep the shared household state coherent behind the scenes.

What does Giles do without asking?

Low-risk organizing can happen quietly. Anything consequential should be proposed clearly and require the right household member’s approval.

How does setup work?

The eventual front door will introduce household members, permissions, calendars, channels, and boundaries. That onboarding flow is not connected in this mock.

How is private household information handled?

Privacy controls and retention terms are part of the product work still to be finalized before public access.
